Menopause Redefined - Preparing to thrive in this important part of your life

  • Alison Theaker – Life coach with expertise in creativity and entrepreneurship

  • Anne Hope – Homeopathic counsellor who has worked with women’s hormones for over 25 years

  • Dr Johanneke Kodde – Holistic GP and menopause specialist

From our many years of hands on experience, we believe that menopause is extraordinarily important.  The mental, emotional and physical changes are necessary - not only for our physical health, but also for our emotional development into a new part of our life but for society too.

We have now started to work together to reach as many women as possible, to remove the fear and explain the full reasons and benefits of why women need to embrace these changes and find the "alter ego" of their life which is the full creative person that is menopause.

We are running "menopause redefined" events

  • We will remove the fear of this upcoming change by

  • Explaining the physical process of menopause

  • Explain the mental & emotional process of menopause

  • Talk about the growth and expansion that menopause brings

  • The benefits of this process brings individually

  • The benefits menopausal women bring to society

  • Why socially it is necessary

  • Details of the 5 Online monthly sessions below, you can book from our workshops page.

Read the overview of our five monthly sessions November: Celebrating and shedding. (Hormonal rollercoaster.) Autumn. After harvesting and celebrating all we have achieved it is time to take stock. What can stay and what needs to go? Allowing leaves to drop, peel away unhelpful layers to find our essence. Let go of old patterns and emotional baggage. In perimenopause our brains undergo pruning, just like in adolescence and we form new pathways. We emerge from the fog of motherhood/oestrogen to find ourselves again. We can fight it, or we can choose to embrace it. December: Juggling responsibilities and self-care. (Stress and the nervous system.) Perimenopause is a time of turbulence, often with many responsibilities and a body that seems to work against us, a bit like this month. Traditionally December was a time to slow down and draw inward during the long nights but in our culture it is one of the busiest times of year. How do we juggle it all? How do we find some peace and downtime amidst the responsibilities? We can’t keep this show going for very long. We may be able get through December but getting through years of perimenopause requires essential (new) skills. Good mental health with nervous system regulation is imperative. Where does HRT fit in? January: Slow down before you decide on the new you. (Caring for our body.) We are still in winter. It may be a new year but it is too early to start a new fitness and diet plan all guns blazing. Just like nature, in menopause, if we don’t stop, rest, nourish ourselves and assess where we are, we won’t know what we need to do next. It’s time to embed essential self-care practices. We will learn about the way the immune system works best and the way the body restores itself so we can make time for emotional health and deep rest. February: New ideas and possibilities. (Restoring our vitality.) The first signs of spring emerge. What new ideas are coming into your awareness? What green shoots are growing? It is time to re-ignite old passions and interests, or find new ones. Vitality comes from doing what you love, from connection, from flow. Let’s talk about sensuality as well. How can we find excitement and joy again? March: Putting it all together and creating a plan for the rest of the year. (Body, mind and soul.) In Japan menopause is called Second Spring. In nature, growth is really starting to show. All those elements we have worked through can now come together in an action plan. We don’t have to do it all, but we benefit from an acceleration in our energy. This will also happen after we get used to the new hormonal state that is post-menopause. We have a different drive and mission, coming from our true selves into the wider world. This is what the world needs. This is why menopause is an essential evolutionary transition. Let’s go! This programme will provide information, personal insights and practical take-aways. You will learn about all the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual changes. You will feel supported, informed, clearer, softer, wiser, wilder, healthier. You will finish the course inspired, encouraged, seen and taken seriously. The Three Wise Women are qualified experts and have varied lived experience. We have supported hundreds of women through this. We know the facts and the myths. We can see through the fog of information out there, wade through all the noise and show a clear and joyful path forward.
