Loosen up our sacral chakra and begin to release our creativity



Bellydance is a great way to loosen up our sacral chakra, releasing creativity. By learning some easy moves and the basic supportive posture, we can have fun and let go of some of the tension we hold onto in our everyday life. Oriental dance is about moving with the body rather than making it do things it doesn’t want to do. In a world where we are encouraged to “feel the burn” in order to feel like we are exercising, bellydance encourages a lighter approach especially suited to the female body. It can help with back ache and encourage flexibility. Gentle repetitive movements can relieve stress and counter the effects of a sedentary lifestyle. And it’s all about the sequins!
